Recent word from Electronic Arts indicates the publisher expects to support development of Respawn’s new IP for many years to come - along with the possibility that Titanfall 2 could even make it to the PS4....

While that might change some as the beta comes to a close tomorrow, there is still plenty more to be revealed about the game, even beyond the various leaks. For example, Titanfall boasts a substantial story-driven multiplayer campaign, one that Respawn has kept relatively quiet about. Of course that will soon change, as Titanfall is less than a month away from release, but for now a lot of the focus is on hyping the beta and making sure players know just what Respawn is trying to do with their new game....

In later years, ToeJam and Earl has become a cult classic, mostly remembered for its jazz-infused hip-hop soundtrack and unapologetically weird atmosphere. However, the game itself is worth another look, too. Underneath ToeJam and Earl’s stylish aesthetics and goofy humor lies a remarkably modern adventure-platformer. While ToeJam and Earl wasn’t the first 16-bit game to embrace cooperative gameplay, the game was definitely designed to be enjoyed with a friend. ToeJam and Earl’s dynamic split-screen display was ahead of its time, and the game was crammed full of funny dialogue that would only sound when two people were playing at once....

There are still echoes of the groaning Croft that was featured in the first gameplay from E3 2011, but along with that are some of the more harrowing scenarios our heroine has ever been put in....

Now, one month after E3 2012, Crystal Dynamics have opened the floodgates, providing a hands-on demo to the public at this year’s Comic-Con. Presented in the opening moments of the demo, we find Lara Croft atop a mountain right after she has escaped from the cave of cocooned bodies — which can be seen in E3 2011’s hands-off demo. Despite having seen this demo gameplay from the hands-off preview at E3 2012, allowing us to go hands on with the game provided newer insight as to how it will feel....
