Who Is Pebbles? What Happened to Her?
Pebbles is the niece of Sully, who makes her debut in Season 2, Episode 3, titled “Likkle Favour”.
She turned up out of the blue at Sully’s boathouse, beginning for help after she landed herself in serious trouble with some Peckham drug dealers.
Pebbles had been tasked with transporting a bag of drugs from Jamaica by dealers Cyprus (Michael Balogun) and Khadeem (Khali Best). Her boyfriend, Rashaun, had convinced her to sell the drugs themselves and keep the profits, but instead, Rashaun kept the money for himself, leaving Cyprus and Khadeem looking for Pebbles and their money.
Sully, who will do anything to protect his family, finds himself back on the streets to save Pebbles from Cyprus and Khadeem. He eventually tracked down Rashaun and was able to retrieve the money and drugs (with force) and paid Cyprus and Khadeem a visit with the intention of handing over the goods.
However, negotiations between Sully and Cyprus and Khadeem didn’t go well and ended with Sully threatening them with a gun. He gave them the opportunity to “sleep on” his terms and conditions, but thanks to Pebbles, who had given Cyprus and Khadeem the location of Sully’s houseboat with the hopes of helping solve things, Sully was ambushed during the night and almost beaten to death.
Thanks to Khadeem and Cyprus’s gang broadcasting Sully’s beating on social media, Dushane, Jaq (Jasmine Jobson) and the rest of Summerhouse were able to locate Sully and rescue him, but not without killing every member of Khadeem and Cyprus’s gang and burning their bodies.
As a consequence of Pebbles’ actions, Sully found himself sucked back into his former life with Dushane and re-joins Dushane’s drug empire, heading to Morocco to seal the deals taking place over there, overruling Jamie (Michael Ward).
Despite being a pretty annoying character and unintentionally turning Sully’s life upside down, Pebbles did get some form of redemption in the end by reuniting Sully with his beloved daughter, Trish.
Top Boy is streaming on Netflix now.
