A former DIvision agent turned rogue operative, Aaron Keener now controls lower Manhattan with his four powerful lieutenants. After losing faith in the mission, he now seeks chaos. Vivian Conley is a chemical engineer and former Division agent working her way towards what she thinks is a new society. Javier Kajika is a master of stealth and infiltration and is located in Battery Park where there are a multitude of sinkholes. Both of these lieutenants are aided by the Cleaners, former sanitation workers gone rogue.

James Dragov, a former police officer and heavy weapons specialist, controls the financial district where he runs a black market operation. He works with Theo Parnell, a drone engineer and hacker, situated in the Civic Center area. Both use the Rikers, former prisoners who thrive in the chaos.

Haven is the new base of operations in New York founded by the Peacekeepers, a group of protectors who have popped up since The Division lost public appeal. It’s up to you and the other members of Tom Clancy’s butt-kicking task force to keep the streets safe and fight off the most powerful foes the game has ever seen.

If you purchase the DLC before April 3, you’ll get a level 40 weapon and outfit.

Warlords of New York adds a significant amount of end-game content, increasing the level cap to 40 and adding a new open world area in New York. There will also be an infinite scaling system once you hit the level cap to keep the grind going. For those who still aren’t strong enough but want to explore the new content, those who purchase this expansion will be given a boost straight to level 30. There will also be “thematic three-month seasons” that will continuously give new late-game content for players to continue exploring. Seasons will award you with apparel and exclusive drops.

There will also be an Ultimate version of Warlords of New York that comes bundled with the base game, the new expansion, all six endgame specializations and eight exclusive Classified assignments missions. There’s also a bunch of cosmetics like The Elite Agent pack, First Responder pack, Battleworn Secret Service pack and an emote and an outfit.

The Warlords of New York Expansion leaked slightly earlier than expected, with reddit user Hurinzor compiling all of the images found in the Xbox API.

With new skills, revamped Dark Zones in Washington D.C. and new endgame specialization, Warlords of New York should keep The Division 2 players enthralled.
